MBM's Impact

Boster Bravo

In December 2007, Boster Bravo received his 2nd loan from MBM to expand his financial forum business. Boster graduated in June 2007 with the idea to teach a series of business seminars; along with his wife Marisol, he spent the next few weeks preparing for the pilot launch. The purpose of the business forums is to encourage discussion about business topics, to promote community development, and to help people network.

Twenty-five people attended Boster's first seminar on February 27. The seminar, held at a local hotel, focused on managing credit, spending habits, earning income, and managing money to prepare for the future. Topics of future seminars will focus on business training, personal finance, and success as an entrepreneur.

Boster has received sponsorship from local businesses and much support members of the community. After months of hard work, his business is well underway–and is looking to be a grand success.
